Ubuntu OS Wallpaper
A small dream of mine became a reality when one of my photos was included as a part of the Ubuntu 12.10 release. Ubuntu is an open-source Linux-based operating system. They release new versions each year, with major support releases happening every 2-4 years. For 12.10 I submitted a photograph to be considered for use in the next release. The photograph above, titled “Vanishing” was chosen to be included as one of the default wallpaper choices for the operating system.
The photo was featured in many tech blogs that talk about Linux and Ubuntu operating systems, and free to the community to use however they want.
